Maero was quite...What was a good word for it...? Surrounded by the forest sprites. Their constant chatter made her smile at sometimes and frown at others at their jokes about the fairies and brownies who also occupied this forest.
Being sprites, they were the heartbeat of the forest, the very soul of the area. Brownies are the individual plants and tree's guardians and of course, fairies were the kind and magical folk who lived among the fauna, being as normal as...the sky was to the earth.
She shuffled silently past the trees that were giants compared to the Suffolk mare.
"Hehehe! How funny those brownies are!" A sprite cackled, it's glowing being flied past her ear. A chorus of more giggles resounded.
"No, no! Those fairies are even more funny with their high and mighty rules! They be so big if they mind not so small!"Another burst out laughing, making for even more harder laughter.
Maero rolled her eyes, her long tail swishing past her legs. What more could she ask for than a place to call her own?
